I grew up in the rural community of China Spring, Texas and graduated from China Spring High School. In 1994 I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BBA in Finance. My Career as a Financial Advisor began in 1995 in the Ft Worth office of A. G. Edwards. In 1999 I moved to Albuquerque, NM to manage the Edwards office there. In 2007 I was asked to return to Ft Worth to manage the office where my career started. In April of 2011 I joined the Baird family, becoming the Branch Manager in 2014. In January of 2017 I officially teamed up with Jim Hazel, George Gamez, & Michell Barber to form The HGA Group. I currently hold the Series 3, 7, 8, 63, & 66 licenses as well as the Texas Department of Insurance license.
I'm very blessed to have three wonderful women in my life – my wife, Mitzi, and my two daughters, Rachel & Claire. Mitzi & I attend Willow Park Baptist Church and I’m also committed to family, friends, clients and anything on two wheels.
For me, the most important thing in a successful financial relationship is communication. Most financial decisions involve, or are governed by, emotions. Candid communication is the only way I've found to address emotional decisions.
